Directions

Nominees must be an A.A. member with one continuous year of sobriety and a home group within the five boroughs or Westchester County. Nominated speakers will be required to qualify in person to the Speaker Selection Committee prior to final selection. Chosen speakers will be notified by phone, and will need to sign a consent form should their story be audio taped at the Dinner Dance.

In the spirit of Tradition 12: Anonymity is the spiritual foundation of all our Traditions, ever reminding us to place principles above personalities, the Steering Committee requests that no A.A. member post Inter-Group Association of A.A. of New York elections, nominations, events and/or occurrences on their personal profiles or social media accounts. Present-day Steering Committee members are excluded from nominating speakers.
Note: Speakers and Alternate will be comped.
